Local Cancer Support

As of today, Hillcrest Committee has raised $3,241,278.00 for charity.

We are honored to donate funds to local organizations supporting people with cancer in the Rogue Valley. We contribute to the cancer compassion funds at both Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Providence Medford Medical Center. The compassion funds are used for the many things that a person with cancer needs, in addition to medical cancer treatment. Compassion Funds help provide wrap-around care for them and their families, addressing basic needs when community resources fall short. Examples include:

Transportation – taxi vouchers, gas cards, vehicle maintenance (like tires or registration fee)
Nutrition – grocery cards, magic bullet blenders, feeding tub transition kits, cooking classes (these will be offered beginning in August in Grants Pass for pre- and post- op patients)
Complementary care – free oncological massage and expressive arts interventions/activity kits

We have also donated to the Access Over the Top Wig Program which supplies people with cancer with free wigs to look and feel their best while going through chemotherapy.
